role, you will handle financial operations and processes, ensuring
accuracy and compliance with industry standards. This position
offers an exciting opportunity to work within the dynamic field of
design. Responsibilities: • Process payroll for a team of 25
employees, including union-related and public works job
considerations. • Perform detailed job costing to accurately
allocate expenses and project budgets. • Manage accounts payable
and receivable tasks, including bill payments and record
maintenance. • Review and approve or decline client invoices based
on established criteria. • Handle bank deposits and manage receipt
of funds efficiently. • Conduct calculations for commissions and
ensure timely disbursement. • Audit invoices and coordinate vendor
payments for approved and delivered materials. • Bachelor's degree
in accounting or finance; an associate degree with significant
experience may be considered. • Minimum of 3 years of
detail-oriented accounting experience. • Familiarity with payroll
processing and job costing methods. • Experience working in the
construction industry is highly desirable. • Strong attention to
detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently
and meet deadlines effectively. • Proficiency in financial software
and tools for accounting tasks.
