Job Description:
Each year we employ hundreds of Seasonal Staff to serve
thousands of campers and our Directors and Assistant Directors are
an integral part of this success. Each Camp Leadership Team is
responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, high quality and
efficient programs. They also provide mentorship and training to
our Seasonal Instructors and are responsible for creating a
positive, inclusive, and memorable work environment. If you are

Details Work Schedule : Sunday - Friday, with frequent trips and
overnight stays in the field with our program groups. Position
Duration: In person Camp Leadership training takes place May 1 - 3.
Additional pre-season training takes place in Colorado May 23 -
June 3. Transportation to and from required trainings
accommodations provided! Programs Run June through August, exact
dates location depending. Compensation : Pay is determined based on
position, additional responsibilities, relevant certifications, and
staff tenure. Starting rates are below: Colorado: $1,119/week
California: $1,352/week $350 WFR/EMT certification bonus at the end
of the season Additional bonuses for advanced certifications: $100
- $400 per certification Due to California regulations, in order to
drive our 15-passenger vans, staff must either possess a CDL or
non-CA based drivers license. California Expedition Candidates who
do not possess a CA driver's license will be considered on a
case-by-case basis. In this role you will Bring the Avid4 vision to
life; ensure our camps are operating at a high quality and that
parents, campers and staff have positive experiences at Avid4
Adventure. Lead and empower Camp Instructors by providing
mentorship, hosting engaging staff meetings and continuing
education segments, and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace.
Complete behind-the-scenes administrative work to include creating
camp and staff schedules, uploading pictures, ensuring compliance
standards are being upheld, conducting payroll audits, and ensuring
logistical accuracy. Provide excellent customer service to our
campers and parents by addressing problems immediately,
communicating clearly and frequently, responding to parent survey
feedback, and guiding staff on Avid4 best practices. Manage the
risk in your program to minimize the number of incidents. You will
participate in incident response and oversee the timely completion
of incident reports and first aid forms. Fulfill the role of
instructor on an as needed basis. Your Background Must meet
American Camp Association minimum age requirements, i.e., must be
20 years or older by the start of camp season) All Camp Leadership
must qualify to drive camp vehicles, i.e., have a valid driver’s
license for 3 years and clean driving record Must have demonstrated
expertise in at least one of our core sports (paddling,
backpacking, climbing, mountain biking) Expeditions Leadership must
possess a Wilderness First Responder (or EMT) and CPR certification
by the start of camp You will love this role if You find

programs and supporting campers and staff as you are behind a
laptop completing administrative duties with attention to detail
and precision. You can speak to multiple audiences with ease,
foster meaningful relationships, and inspire everyone around you
with our mission. You successfully develop and empower your
instructors while working with them side by side, being present in
the moment, and leaving the weight of work challenges behind you at
