Job Description:

POSITION: Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT)

TIME / STATUS: Full Time, 9am-3pm, no weekends or holidays.

LOCATION: Vacaville

COMPENSATION: $30-$35/hour, depending on experience. Additional opportunities for performance based pay increases available.

EXPERIENCE: No day program experience required, will train!

Our program is dedicated to enriching the lives of each individual through programming designed to realize their potential while recognizing their unique needs.



QUALIFICATIONS:

• 
  
• Possesses a valid LPT license.
  
• Possesses a California Driver's License with a good driving record and willing to transport participants in personal vehicle (mileage paid).
  
• Personal vehicle insurance coverage at $100k (required to be covered under KCS insurance).
  
• Criminal record (background check) clearance required.
  
• Medical clearance and negative TB test required.
  
• Authorization to work in the US required.
  
• Fluent in English.
  
• Comfortable utilizing various technology and software.
  
• Commitment to regular and timely attendance.
  
  
  
  
  JOB DUTIES:
  
  
  
  Service Provision
  
  
  • 
    
  • Provide direct medical and behavioral support for individuals with disabilities.
    
  • Assist individuals with direct service and support needs.
    
  • Monitor individual progress and ensure health and safety.
    
  • Provide necessary physical assistance as needed to Individuals.
    
  • Implement Service and Support Plans as trained.
    
  • Encourage individuals to express their preferences, make choices, and maximize their skills.
    
  • Uses knowledge and experience in implementation of Positive Behavior Supports to safely de-escalate participants.
    
    
    Training/Certifications
    
    
    • 
      
    • Maintain required training/documentation (LPT license, CPR, NCI, etc.).
      
    • Attend weekly supervision and program team meetings.
      
      
      Program Coordination
      
      
      • 
        
      • Complete and submit required paperwork.
        
      • Follow KCS policies and procedures.
