Job Description Job Description Project Engineer - Heavy Civil Project Engineer - Heavy Civil Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Engineer specializing in Heavy Civil projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and management of various large-scale construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Assist in the planning and execution of heavy civil construction projects. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met. Prepare and maintain project documentation including reports, schedules, and budgets. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Assist in the management of project resources, including materials and labor. Participate in problem-solving and conflict resolution on project sites. Provide technical support and guidance to project teams as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Proven experience as a Project Engineer in heavy civil construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and regulations. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with construction management software and tools is a plus. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.
