WHAT YOU'LL DO Build sophisticated data triage and exploration interfaces that enable users to filter, analyze, and investigate data across millions of records Design and develop web front-end visualization tools for Zipline's data pipelines, enabling high-quality analysis to solve critical autonomy problems Build scalable and performant backend APIs and realtime data pipelines to support complex querying, filtering, and aggregation across large datasets Design and implement efficient database schemas, indexes, and query optimization strategies to ensure performant search and analysis at scale Collaborate closely with engineering teams to understand workflows and deliver tools that improve operational efficiency and data-driven decision making WHAT YOU'LL BRING Demonstrated experience building production-grade full stack web applications Proven ability to work closely with internal customers and deliver software end-to-end in order to address diverse needs Strong experience with data-heavy web applications and performance optimization for large datasetsUnderstanding of database query optimization and working with complex JSON/nested data structures Strong user-centered design thinking - ability to iterate with users and translate complex technical requirements into intuitive UX Expertise in modern front-end (Typescript, React, Zustand, Storybook, Playwright) Experience with backend frameworks for API design (Django, Flask, FastAPI) Working knowledge of cloud databases (e.g. AWS RDS, DocumentDB) What Else You Need to Know The starting cash range for this role is $170,000 - $210,000. Please note that this is a target, starting cash range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this role. The final cash pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, working location, and projected impact. The total compensation package for this role may also include: equity compensation; overtime pay; discretionary annual or performance bonuses; sales incentives; benefits such as medical, dental and vision insurance; paid time off; and more.
