they are looking for an Account Manager with experience selling
consumer packaged products ideally to large retailers with private
labels. Their major accounts include Walmart and Sam's Club and
this person will be responsible for maintaining the existing
accounts at Walmart and Sam's Club globally and also developing new
business. Responsibilities include the development and execution of
account specific strategies and objectives, monitoring performance,
and adjusting these strategies as needed.This offers a HYBRID
SCHEDULE with some in office work at their location in Vacaville,
CA.Responsibilities:Responsible for executing Supply Agreement with
Walmart U.S Develop strategies to gain authorization for new items,
and management of existing Branded and Private Label item
distribution globally.Work closely with the Walmart Category
Manager to optimize Branded and Private Label product productivity
(product mix, POG placement, promo activity, product & package
innovation), and to favorably influence category development
decisions.Work with the Innovation Team to identify "white space"
opportunities within Walmart & Sam's Club, develop compelling,
on-trend product offerings that resonate with consumers, that will
deliver on growth and account specific KPI objectives.Facilitate
quarterly updates with Walmart's Sourcing Team, keeping them
appraised of product input cost fluctuation and availability.
Provide end of year analysis and pricing guidance.Work to maintain
a deep, collaborative, and value-added relationships with all
Category Management, Sourcing, Sr. Mgmt., Re-Order Buyers, and
International Buyers.Make in-person sales calls to Buyers on a
regular cadence. Provide analysis of on-going business performance
and deliver new item presentations.Have a keen understanding of
Walmart / Sam's Club internal businesses reporting and processes,
KPI's, and value proposition.Provide timely and accurate item
forecast updates to ensure that internal business cohorts have the
information needed to source fruit & materials appropriately, and
to manufacture product inventory to match customer's
demand.Requirements:Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from a four year
college or university; and 10+ years of Key Account management
experience, or have worked directly for Walmart / Sam's
Club.Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing business at
Walmart and/or Sam's Club.Should have a a deep understanding of the
CPG food industry; industry knowledge, consumer trends, competitive
trends, and have experience in the Mass Market & Club channels.Be
proficient with Retail Link, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,
Powerpoint, and Outlook), have ERP system experience, and a deep
understanding of syndicated data (IRI or Nielsen).Is
action-oriented with a passion to meet daily challenges with a
positive "can-do" attitude and a strong sense of urgency. Can
toggle between doing and thinking.Is driven by results and strongly
believes in accountability for self and others.Self-aware and
willing to listen and learn; emphasizes the importance of
continuously learning.A natural Team Player and relationship
