POSITION: Licensed Psychiatric Technician
TIME / STATUS: Full Time
LOCATION: Vacaville
COMPENSATION: $28+ per hour, dependent on experience
BENEFITS: Health, dental, life insurance and vacation pay available
EXPERIENCE: No experience required, will train!

Our primary mission at Kreative Community Services (KCS) is to offer adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD) person-centered services and supports aiming to achieve the best quality of life possible. Our program is dedicated to enriching the lives of each individual through programming designed to realize their potential while recognizing their unique needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:


Covid-19 vaccine REQUIRED. Must be vaccinated.
Possesses a valid LPT license.
Possesses a California Driver's License with a good driving record and willing to transport participants in a KCS vehicle.
Criminal record (background check) clearance required.
Medical clearance and negative TB test required.
Authorization to work in the US required.
Fluent in English.
Possess strong written and communication skills.
Desire to serve adults with disabilities.
Team player who works well and effectively communicates with others.
Ability to work in high stress environments.
Willing to learn.
Comfortable utilizing various technology and software.
Commitment to regular and timely attendance.


JOB DUTIES:

Service Provision

Provide direct medical and behavioral support for individuals with disabilities.
Assist individuals with direct service and support needs.
Monitor individual progress and ensure health and safety.
Provide necessary physical assistance as needed to Individuals.
Implement Service and Support Plans as trained.
Encourage individuals to express their preferences, make choices, and maximize their skills.
Uses knowledge and experience in implementation of Positive Behavior Supports to safely de-escalate participants.

Training/Certifications

Maintain required training/documentation (LPT license, CPR, NCI, etc.).
Attend in-service/team meetings.

Program Coordination

Complete and submit required paperwork.
Follow KCS policies and procedures.
