Job Description:
The Hospital Unit Service Coordinator (HUSC), under the
direction of the Patient Care Unit Manager, Nursing Supervisor, or
Charge Nurse, functions as the primary communication link within
the patient care unit and performs administrative duties aimed at
achieving positive patient care outcomes. All team members are
responsible for meeting patient needs, demonstrating a willingness
to learn new skills, and fostering a harmonious work environment
that ensures high-quality patient care and customer service. They
promote a cooperative relationship with colleagues, physicians,
other disciplines, and the public by facilitating communication,
displaying honesty and respect, being sensitive to cultural
differences, and accepting feedback professionally.
Additional Information
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional
approvals based on UC policy. Placement within the salary range
depends on factors such as work experience and internal equity
within UCSF. For union-represented positions, salary placement
follows the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $31.96 - $39.85 per hour.
