Job Description Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a motivated, patient-centered Physician (MD/DO) or Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our functional medicine practice. This role focuses on root-cause, integrative, and personalized care to support long-term patient wellness and disease prevention. The ideal candidate is passionate about holistic, evidence-based medicine, values patient education, and is comfortable developing individualized treatment plans that integrate lifestyle, nutrition, and advanced diagnostics. This is an excellent opportunity for providers who are passionate about holistic, evidence-based medicine and value longer patient visits, education, and comprehensive treatment planning. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations using a functional medicine approach Identify and address root causes of chronic illness and dysfunction Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating lifestyle, nutrition, supplementation, and medical therapies Order, interpret, and integrate advanced and conventional diagnostic testing Educate patients on disease prevention, wellness optimization, and sustainable health strategies Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams as needed Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation Qualifications – Required MD/DO, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant Active state license (or ability to obtain) for assigned location(s) Board-certified or board-eligible (MD/DO); active national certification (NP/PA) Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered communication skills Qualifications – Preferred Training or experience in functional, integrative, or lifestyle medicine Experience managing chronic conditions such as metabolic disorders, hormonal imbalance, autoimmune conditions, or gastrointestinal dysfunction Interest in longevity, preventative medicine, and wellness optimization Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team Multiple Locations Available Ocala, FL San Francisco, CA Sacramento, CA Davis, CA Santa Rosa, CA Dallas, TX Phoenix, AZ Job Posted by ApplicantPro
