Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for
a critical need Labor & Delivery position in California requiring a
current CA RN license and recent L&D experience.
Responsibilities - Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit -
12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM - 13-week contract
assignment - Patient care involves laboring women, deliveries, and
high-risk obstetric cases - Uses EPIC electronic medical record
system - Provide skilled nursing care to mothers during labor,
delivery, and immediate postpartum period - Collaborate with
obstetricians, midwives, and support staff in a fast-paced
environment - Candidates must meet specific documentation
requirements for consideration - Local and travel candidates are
both accepted at the same rate - Must comply with internal policy
limiting assignment duration to a maximum of two years Requirements
- Active CA RN license required - Graduate of an accredited nursing
program - Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years)
full-time L&D experience required - Current BLS and Advanced
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required -
High-risk Labor & Delivery experience within the past 2 years is
preferred - Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field preferred
- Five or more years of recent L&D experience preferred - All
licenses and certifications must be active at the time of
consideration - Experience with EPIC charting preferred - Last 4
digits of SSN and DOB required for consideration Benefits - High
