Maximus Aidvantage is currently seeking a strong architect/developer that will lead the implementation, and maintenance of the ServiceNow instance within Aidvantage. This person should have a clear understanding of ITSM and ITIL processes and be able to apply those processes within the ServiceNow platform. This includes ServiceNow platform customization, implementation, configuring workflows, process automations, system notifications and maintenance and configuration. This also includes our custom applications developed with the ServiceNow App Engine architecture. The position is required to coordinate with technical teams, internal and external stakeholders, and present use cases and provide expert guidance on implementing the solution. The person must demonstrate a willingness to learn new offerings from ServiceNow and overcome technical challenges in a fast-paced environment. The position will provide overall architectural suggestions, design, and implementation expertise as well as hands-on development and delivery. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Oversee and interface with the developers to design, develop, test and implement critical functionality and POCs. - Work with clients to create strategies and frameworks. - Architect and design application solutions. - Guide developers. - Provide hands-on development support. - Design software components from business requirements. - Document and diagram application functionality from business requirements. Program Specific Duties and Responsibilities: -Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and design deployment strategies aligned with ITSM/ITIL processes. -Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, including workflows, reports, integrations, and custom app development using App Engine. -Provide architectural guidance, hands-on development, and ongoing system maintenance using ServiceNow best practices. -Troubleshoot deployment issues, maintain testing protocols for upgrades, and ensure system performance meets operational targets. -Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design, specifications, and operational procedures. -Support the full software development lifecycle and contribute to project artifacts and continuous improvement initiatives. Minimum Requirements - Bachelors degree in related field. - 7-10 years of relevant professional experience required.- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree. Program Specific Requirements: -Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is required -At least five (7) years of IT experience in an enterprise environment -3 years of proven architecture, functional and technical knowledge, configuration and implementation of ServiceNow -Proven track record of multiple large-scale ServiceNow implementations, including version upgrades and project scoping. -Able to demonstrate experience using the App Engine Management Center -Proficiency in server-side and client-side scripting is crucial. -Experience with key integration technologies is essential. -Deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform. Specifically, ITOM (IT Operations Management), ITAM (IT Asset Management), SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management), GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance), and CMDB (Configuration Management Database) is critical. -ServiceNow Implementation certification and ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification -Functional knowledge and implementation experience of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and demonstrated project management skills and experience working directly with customers and clients -Expert knowledge of ServiceNow performance, availability monitoring, and analysis as well as configuration management Additional Requirements, as per Contract/Client: - Must Be Eligible to Obtain Government Clearance - Must be a U.S. citizen - Must currently reside in the U.S. - Must be able to pass a criminal background check - Must not be delinquent or in default on any federal student loans - Employment and continued employment are contingent upon obtaining and maintaining a favorable clearance. - Final suitability determination is the sole discretion of the Department of Education. - Obtaining and Maintaining a PIV-I card is a requirement of this position. PIV-I cards must be picked up in person. If applicable, new and existing employees may need to travel via car, train, or plane to a designated location to pick up their new or replacement PIV-I card. Annual salary is just one component of Maximuss total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
