Shifts (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) Pay: $66/hr Start Date:
01/19/2026(Tentative) Description: UC Davis Medical Center is
seeking a Patient Records Abstractor IV to support its Medical
Services Abstracting Unit. This non-clinical HIM role focuses on
reviewing EMR documentation, identifying billable services, and
assigning accurate CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes in compliance
with federal, state, payer, and teaching physician guidelines.
Requirements: • AHIMA CCS, CCS-P or AAPC CPC certification • Strong
professional fee coding experience • Proficiency with Epic and 3M
encoder systems • Solid knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS
Preferred: • Experience with Surgical Pathology • ENT outpatient
coding experience • Dermatology outpatient coding • Pain management
coding experience
