The product combines virtual banking and cryptocurrency wallet capabilities, enabling users worldwide to move money seamlessly within a unified financial ecosystem. Stablecoins are transforming cross-border payments, creating a rare opportunity to rebuild financial infrastructure for billions of underserved users. This is a ground-floor role on a small, senior-only team moving quickly to deliver real global impact. Why This Role High cash compensation ($200K–$380K) Immediate impact on products used by millions of users globally Opportunity to shape technical architecture and mobile standards from day one Work at the intersection of fintech, crypto, and global payments Collaborate directly with experienced founders who have led successful exits Role Responsibilities Lead Android client development from the ground up Architect the Android stack and establish engineering best practices Build a high-performance, reliable, and secure mobile application Collaborate closely with backend, product, and design teams Contribute to broader mobile strategy across Android, iOS, and mobile web as the platform scales Ensure the app meets stringent requirements around security, compliance, and reliability Required Experience 5 years building and shipping consumer-facing Android applications using Java and/or Kotlin Experience in fintech domains such as banking, payments, remittances, lending, or cryptocurrency Hands-on experience with fraud prevention, AML, ledger systems, or payments orchestration Strong understanding of mobile performance, security, and scalability Preferred Qualifications Experience building products for international or emerging markets Familiarity with Latin American fintech ecosystems Strong product and design sensibility Full-stack experience or ability to contribute beyond mobile when needed Work Location In-office role based in San Francisco Relocation candidates considered Visa sponsorship available Team Environment Small, senior-level engineering team Fast-moving, ownership-driven culture Emphasis on impact, autonomy, and technical excellence
