Job Description:
2 positions are available. 1 for Day Shift, usually 9AM-6PM and
1 for Swing Shift, usually 2:30PM-11PM. Currently both positions
are onsite positions located at our Sunnyvale location. SUMMARY OF
JOB FUNCTION: The CAM Engineer is responsible for reviewing
customer-supplied data and drawings, performing design rule checks,
and the creation of manufacturing data, program,s and tools
required for the manufacture of printed circuit boards. Must be
familiar with Flex and Rigid Flex boards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Function Name Import customer data into various CAM systems.
Perform design rule checks and edit data to comply with
manufacturing guidelines. Create array configurations, route and
test programs, Panelizatio,n and output data for production use.
Itemize and correspond design issues with customers. Receive and
share knowledge in a team environment. Work extended hours and
perform other duties based on the needs of the department and
company. QUALIFICATIONS - KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS- EXPERIENCE: AA Degree
preferred. 3-5 years’ experience as a CAM Engineer for a reputed
PCB Manufacturing Company. Must have a clear understanding of
processes required to manufacture high-tech PCB’s. Prior experience
with valor software a plus. Prior experience of working on CAM of
HDI, Flex and Rigid Flex is a must. Ability to read and understand
technical drawings and work instructions. Proficient computer
skills: Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook and the ability to learn new
skills and tasks as required, especially PCB software (Valor &
ProCIM). Ability to make mathematical calculations and utilize
complex drawings. Must be flexible to work extended hours base on
the need of the department and company. Ability to perform at the
highest level in a fast-paced environment. Excellent oral and
written communication skills. Exceptional multi-tasking,
organizational skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of
management Self-motivator and a sense of ownership and urgency.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality & professionalism at all
times. Proficient in Microsoft Office using Excel, PowerPoint, and
Word required. SUPERVISES: None PHYSICAL DEMANDS : The physical
demands described here represent those that an employee must meet
to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While
performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to talk or hear. The employee must frequently stand, walk,
and reach with hands and arms. The ability to lift 20 lbs., open
filing cabinets, and bend, stand, or climb on step ladders as
necessary. ENVIRONMENT : Office and Manufacturing – Comply with
safety and protective equipment as required. California Salary
Range: $30 - $42 with Benefits and Perks.
