The City of Vacaville is currently recruiting to fill vacancies for part-time Customer Service Representative I in our Parks & Recreation Department.

The Customer Service Representative I provides service to the public including reception duties, billing, processing program registrations, providing receipt of fees, processing forms, cash-handling, record-keeping, inventory control, answering and routing incoming calls, housekeeping duties and other related tasks as assigned. Duties may also include participant check-in and equipment set-up.

Part-time positions are paid an hourly rate and can work up to a maximum of 129 hours per month. Part-time positions are at-will, are not eligible for health or retirement benefits, and do not accrue leave time with the exception of state-mandated sick leave (24 hours per year).

Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain knowledge and abilities would be:

Education:Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.

Experience:None required. Some public contact experience including general office and/or cash handing experience is desirable.

License: Select positions may require the possession of a valid California Class C Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record as a condition of initial and continued employment
