Description Robert Half presently has an opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. Located in Vacaville, California, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary to hire position. In this influential department, there is a possibility for further career growth and advancement. The Accounts Payable Clerk position will require to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.Responsibilities- Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling- Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time- Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners- Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department- Execute additional tasks as needed- Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it- Provide support during internal and external audits- Accomplish full-cycle A/P- Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them Requirements - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred- 1+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred- Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement- Competent with spreadsheets and databases- Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds- Proficiency in Code Invoices- Oracle experience- Command of Accounts Payable (AP)- Form 1099 experience Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
