Job Description:
Title: RN Wound/Ostomy Care
Initial Duration - 3 months (Possibility of extension)
Location - Vacaville, CA
Pay Range: $3000-3360/Hrs Weekly Gross
Description:
The wound care specialty focuses on injury and damage to skin and
its underlying structures.
To provide optimal wound care, it is first important to understand
how and why wounds develop by considering general anatomic skin
layers and pressure ulcer risk factors.
1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent
experience
Evaluates new and currently used products for ostomy, continence,
and wound care.
Provides patient/family teaching and education regarding
ostomy/wound care and self-management.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related
field. CWOCN or CWCN certification preferred.
