Job Description:
Summary: At Travis Credit Union (TCU), we believe employee

their financial goals. The DEI and Engagement Business Partner is
responsible for embedding and delivering key initiatives across all
aspects of the employee experience, through the design and delivery
of a variety of TCU wide strategic programs, events, and activities
that are measurable and impactful. Profile:
- Understands the Credit Union's business strategies and aligns
DEI and Engagement strategies and programs to achieve the business
goals.
- Translates TCU's DEI and Engagement strategy and implementation
roadmap into the everyday culture by partnering with both internal
and external stakeholders to establish, monitor, and advance DEI
and Engagement specific priorities, translating intentions and
priorities into programs and project plans with key activities,
milestones, achievable timelines, accountabilities, and key
performance indicators.
- Collaborates with functional leaders, committees, councils, and
others to develop and deliver internal and external communications
and metrics showing impact and goal attainment on key DEI and
Engagement initiatives.
- Demonstrate an understanding of and appreciation for cultural
differences and provide insights to encourage and engage others in
solving complex problems.
- Applies best practices and methods, program management, and
deep expertise in managing large, multi-year, complex DEI and
Engagement initiatives and transformative programs.
- Leads action planning based on analysis of engagement survey
results (and other data sources) by partnering with senior leaders
to create accountability frameworks that amplify the employee
engagement and promote effective response to employee identified
areas of opportunity
- Designs and delivers complex programs with multiple projects
and work streams
- Mobilizes internal resources, develops processes and practices,
and leverage cross-functional relationships to ensure DEI and
Engagement work is embedded across all areas of TCU.
- Drives development of workforce analytics reporting, and tools
for executive leadership on DEI and Engagement program
performance
- Creates rigorous business cases and project plans for strategic
initiatives.
- Inspires and coaches DEI and Engagement team members and
stakeholders to develop capability and engage positively in DEI and
Engagement activities
- Measure effectiveness of service offerings and address
opportunities and feedback through targeted improvement
initiatives
- Researches best practices and benchmarks DEI and Engagement
progress and impact based on data.Skills:
- Highly strategic, an excellent collaborator and communication
(both written and verbal), process and project oriented, with a
strong sense of meeting deadlines and measuring impact.
- Effective oral and written communication skills required to
understand and communicate information and ideas in a clear and
understandable manner with key business partners as it relates to
DEI and Engagement matters.
- Ability to effectively and clearly articulate program risks,
concerns and issues; is able to effectively and objectively
escalate portfolio performance issues
- Ability to build credibility and trust with key decision makers
and be regarded as an expert advisor.
- Ability to provide direction and leadership, serving as a
resource to staff on DEI and Engagement projects
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to
translate key insights and trends into actionable plans.Reporting
and Experience:
- Reports to the Chief People Officer
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration,
Industrial/Organizational Psychology, HR Management or related
field required, Master's Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years and proven track record in designing and
delivering complex DEI and Engagement programs with multiple
projects and work streams with impact driven results,
required.
- Prior experience in Credit Union or Banking industries,
preferred
- Demonstrated history of effective leadership, building and
developing cultural competence, establishing performance standards,
and developing an inclusiveStarting salary is commensurate with

- Grade 22: $ 141,740.56 /annually - $ 175,094.40
