AWS is seeking a Startups Business Development Operations (BD Ops)
Leader to head our Startups BD Ops team. This position will
implement high-impact operational mechanisms and orchestrate
executive engagement strategies to drive startups ecosystem
engagement and enhance relationships with venture capital firms,
accelerators, and strategic startups. As a trusted advisor to the
Startups BD Leader, the role focuses on driving operational
excellence for the Startups BD team and leveraging data and
analysis to deliver measurable business outcomes. The leader will
design resource allocation frameworks, oversee Startups BD team
goal management and performance measurement, and maintain
operational mechanisms that align BD resources with strategic
priorities while ensuring consistent cross-functional
execution.
Key responsibilities include building and managing a
high-performing team of operations professionals. The successful
candidate must have strong startup ecosystem experience, and excel
at C-suite relationship management, data-driven decision making,
and operational process development. Success in this role requires
the ability to navigate complex cross-functional stakeholder
environments, translate strategic vision into executable plans, and
drive results through team leadership and operational excellence.
They will drive towards simple, scalable solutions to difficult
problems, have excellent project-management skills, and be able to
communicate complex analytical results, both written and verbally,
in a clear and easy-to-understand way.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US
geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from
$157,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $260,800/year
in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of
factors including market location and may vary depending on
job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total
compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity,
sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided
as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full
