Position: Architectural Drafter / Intern Architect Location: Sacramento CA Division: Architectural Design and Planning of Multifamily, Commercial, Retail, Education, Healthcare, Institutional, and Civic projects Thriving Architectural Design and Planning firm actively seeks Architectural Drafter / Intern Architect to assist our Architectural Project Managers by quickly and efficiently producing quality architectural construction documents. You will use our firms AutoCAD system to transform initial schematic designs into working documents. The ideal and successful Architectural Drafter / Intern Architect will: Use their AutoCAD and/or Revit skills and manual processes to produce architectural construction documents and drawings Produce accurate finished documents following limited verbal and written directions from Architectural Job Captain or Project Manager throughout the design process Draft specification changes as needed Proofread their own work Generate architectural plans and graphics Architectural Drafter / Intern Architect will have the following qualifications and experience: Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit Prior architectural drafting experience pertaining to multifamily, commercial, retail, educational, healthcare, civic, or institutional projects is preferred Associates degree in Drafting and/or Design Knowledge of commonly-used architectural concepts, practices, and procedures Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Design, graphic and related computer skills a plus Experience in architecture and/or construction preferred OUR FIRM AT A GLANCE: Led by talented architects across the country, our firm create regionally sensitive designs and provide product support services from coast to coast.
