Now Hiring! Solano Irrigation District is seeking a candidate to join the M&I Operations team as a Shift Operator at the Water Treatment Plant. Shift Operator, Water Treatment Plant - $83,387.20 - $114,732.80/annually
The Shift Operator performs semi-skilled and skilled tasks related to the operation and maintenance of water treatment plants, such as conducting standard chemical and water quality tests, making repairs to plant equipment, and collecting water samples for analysis. We are looking for applicants who possess a California State Water Resources Control Board certification in Treatment at level T3, or higher; a certification in Distribution at level D2 or higher; and two (2) years of work experience performing the functions of a water treatment plant operator. The regular work hours for this position are Monday to Friday: 8-hour day shift (6:00 a.m. 2:30 p.m.) with rotating standby duty & weekend work. The standby duty and weekend work will be assigned on a rotational basis among team members to ensure fair distribution of responsibilities.
